Did you know that students can apply the precision and sequencing skills used in beading to understand coding? Both activities require attention to detail, following patterns, and breaking down tasks into small, manageable steps. Just like coding, each bead is like a line of code that contributes to creating something beautiful and functional! 🌟
By connecting hands-on creativity with logical thinking, students in Mrs. Willis' HS Computer Science class not only learned art but also worked to strengthen their problem-solving and coding skills in November. December Night Lights Calendar
Notice the change on Dec. 19. That is the tentative day for the Cannon Ball Elementary Christmas program. THERE WILL BE NO NIGHT LIGHTS ON THAT DAY!
CBES office is unmanned after 4:00 on Night Lights’ nights. If you need to contact someone, please call the school at 854-3341 and select extension 3017.

Solen High School Counselors are hosting a FAFSA event during 4th period, 12:08 PM on December 9th. Guardians of Seniors are welcome to join us for questions and assistance. Please email amber.vollmers@k12.nd.us or tyrell.takenalive@k12.nd.us with any questions prior to event.



Cannonball Elementary school will be doing a "12 days of Christmas" dress up days before the holiday break. A flyer will be send home with your students. Please see the attached calendar. If you have any questions please feel free to call 701-854-3341.

Our 2024 Veterans Wall is up and ready for everyone to see! This wall will be up the whole year. If students or staff would like to add to it, pictures can be dropped off with the counselor or emailed to amber.vollmers@k12.nd.us, and we will gladly get them up there for you.

We were honored to have Travis Albers visit Cannon Ball Elementary!
Travis shared the story of how he received his spiritual name, engaged us with meaningful cultural discussions, and brought stories that enriched our understanding of tradition and identity.

Today we had two cast members from the Netflix hit Rez Ball in our school to speak. Students in grades 3-12 were a part of this memorable day. We even ended with some Lightning and 1 v 1. Thank you actors Devin Craig Sampson and Avery Hale for taking time with our students.
