Today, we were honored to welcome several Veterans who visited our school to share their stories and experiences with our students. It was a powerful opportunity for our young people to learn firsthand about the sacrifices and dedication involved in serving our country. We are incredibly grateful to these brave individuals, not only for their service but also for taking the time to come to the high school today and connect with us all. Thank you for your service and for inspiring our students! Students and families can still join us in providing a picture of a beloved Veteran for our honor wall and bring it to our school's counselors or front office. Fragile pictures can be copied and emailed to Amber.Vollmers@k12.nd.us
Thank you all for your service,

Hello Solen-Cannon Ball Families,
Today at approximately 10:00 am the school was notified by the BIA police that there was a possible threat to schools in the area, including Solen-Cannon Ball and the police were placing the schools in a lock-down. It was determined that there was not a threat to our school and we were removed from the lock -down status within approximately 45 minutes.
I would like to sincerely thank the Bureau of Indian Affairs law enforcement for their swift and proactive response and making our safety a top priority. Additionally, a special thank you to our staff and our students for their great response to this today.
